Bachelor of Science in Social Work

I came to Elms after earning my associate’s degree in social work at Holyoke Community College. My classes are a combination of online and in-person. It’s been manageable while balancing full-time work and my family. The professors have all been understanding and considerate we have lives outside and it has not been difficult to find the balance necessary to be successful.

I choose Elms College because of its reputation and its location. Many alumni are extremely proud to have graduated from this college, and their experiences motivated to me apply. Elms has surpassed any expectations I had of the college. I have had such a positive experience while enrolled.

Everyone I work with has been motivating and encouraging. Wanda S. Banks, the Assistant Director for Online Program Support in the Sr. Kathleen Kirley ’66 School of Continuing Education, is extremely helpful and we can count on her.  On the off chance she doesn’t know the answer to something, she will always find out for you.

I am extremely proud to be attending Elms and I look forward to continuing my education with the college.
